SAINT LAURENCE CHAPEL’S
NEW OVERNIGHT PROGRAM
WILL HELP TURN
DESPAIR INTO HOPE
Everyone deserves a safe place to sleep, and that’s what this new overnight program
at Saint Laurence Chapel Shelter provides. The program includes
two healthful meals as well as the availability of shower, plus, in addition, they are provided
with hygienic necessities. Overnighters arrive at 5:30 p.m. and leave at 6:00 a.m. after breakfast.
Monday through Friday nights. The areas are thoroughly cleaned between groups and
blankets washed every three days.
Participants have been selected through the Broward County Homeless
Coalition. Many of the overnighters will be transitioning into rapid rehousing
programs as well as being assigned to an appropriate rehabilitation program.
